Mardi Himal trek route turns off from the main trail to Annapurna Base Camp which is often crowded with trekkers and takes you to the isolated area where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature combined with the astonishing views of the Annapurna range along with Mt. Fishtail which is the only sacred mountain in the Annapurna region.
After spending few a days in the beautiful rhododendron and mixed forest, the trail emerges into an open rugged area offering splendid views of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Macchapucchare (Fishtail) and Mardi Himal.
Mardi Himal trek starts from a low elevation giving you enough time to acclimatize before you reach high elevation so the risk of getting Acute Mountain Sickness is minimal.
Walking along the ridge of Mardi Himal trail, the vistas of Dhaulagiri, Churen Himal, Annapurna II, Lamjung and Baudha Himal are priceless. Apart from that the experience of village life, views of beautiful farmland and the amazing local people make makes trip totally worthwhile.
